Where to ask, what to include, and what you can expect back.
Three lines answer most tickets before I have to ask for them:
A screenshot of what you see beats a description of what you see. If it is a display problem, say which theme you run.
You are talking to the person who wrote the code, not to a first line. There is no ticket number to quote back at anybody and no script.
A confirmed bug gets fixed and released, not filed. When it ships, the thread you opened is where you find out.
The most useful bug report says what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead, in that order. If you can reproduce it on the demo board, say so: that tells me it is not your setup, which removes half the guessing.
They get read, and a fair number get built. Post them in the add-on's forum with the Suggestion prefix, or in Suggestions and feedback for something broader. Watch the prefix change to Planned, then Shipped.
Premium XenForo add-ons, built, sold and supported by the developer himself. One-time payments, 12 months of updates, forums that answer back.
