XenCard 1.11.0 is on the store.
The store goes from 1.8.2 straight to 1.11.0, so this post covers everything in between in one go: the whole member side redesigned, a market price and a sales history on every card, favourite cards on profiles and a trending cards widget.
Every member page is redesigned.
The collection home, the set binder with its numbered slots, the card page, the pack shop, the marketplace, trades, the inventory and the member page. They share one navigation bar, and the balance stays in view wherever a member is.
Cards behave like cards.
Artwork keeps its natural ratio, cards tilt under the pointer, and each rarity has its own finish. Tall artwork is no longer cropped at the top and bottom.
Opening a pack takes the whole screen.
Drag to open, or use the button or the keyboard. The cards reveal one by one, then a recap offers Open another.
A market price on every card.
The card page now shows an average price weighted towards recent sales, the last sale, the lowest listing, the price range and a chart of the last sales, with a full sales history page behind it. A member deciding what to ask for a duplicate has figures to look at instead of a guess.
Favourites on profiles, and a trending widget.
Members star up to 6 cards, a limit you can change, and show them on their profile and on their cards page. A new widget, XenCard: trending cards, lists the cards with the most sales, listings and trades of the last days.
Your languages, and your own words.
Card, set, pack and rarity titles and descriptions can be translated per language, straight from the admin forms. A Wording tool (Admin > XenCard > Wording) renames the terms XenCard uses on your board, one language at a time, with a preview before anything is written.
Also in this release
Four fixes.
Upgrading.
Upload the files and run the upgrade as usual. There is nothing to configure. XenCard requires XenForo 2.3 and Level 1.1.1 or newer: packs and the market spend the member's XP balance, so Level needs to be installed. The redesign covers the member pages. On the admin side, what is new is the translations, the Wording tool and the options listed above.
