GameHub and BoardGameHub grew fast, and it showed: pages with their own look that fought your style, moderation tools of their own, votes and screenshots stored on the side. Version 2.0.0 of both add-ons rebuilds them on XenForo itself. Every 1.x feature is still there, including the table planner, the shelf and the pre-game briefing of BoardGameHub, and your data moves over on its own.

They look like your forum
Every page, public and admin, now uses XenForo's own components: titles, breadcrumbs, sidebars, tabs, filter bars, lists and forms. Both add-ons follow your style in light and dark variations, third-party styles included, and work down to small phones. The stylesheets are about a fifth of what they were, and pages are faster: statistics are cached, profile tabs load on demand, and nothing loads the whole catalogue any more.Mention a game in two clicks
A new Insert game button (and Insert board game for BoardGameHub) sits in the editor. Type a few letters, pick the game, and its card lands in the post, in rich text or BB code mode. Run both add-ons on the same forum and you get one editor with two buttons and matching cards.Moderation your staff already know
- Soft delete and undelete for games and reviews, with a reason, an optional alert and the deletion log. Permanent deletion is a separate permission.
- Inline moderation on the lists, the approval queue, reports and the moderator log, all native.
- Helpful votes and pre-game note votes use XenForo's vote system, screenshots and photos are real attachments, and reviews use the full editor with spam checks.
- New games and reviews show up in What's new, and both add-ons offer native widget positions.

- Structured data on every game page (VideoGame for GameHub, Game for BoardGameHub) for richer search results.
- Five rating tier colours as style properties, following your style by default.
- Security and permission fixes: a private thread title no longer leaks through an alert, deleting a game checks the delete permission, profile privacy is respected everywhere, and Table results can no longer be guessed.

The update is free for every licence within its 12 months of updates: download 2.0.0 from your account. Back up, then install the archive over any 1.x version from the Admin CP. Votes are copied and images become attachments in a background job.
